In our words
What we wove into this one
Cold wind finds every loose loop of yarn if you let it. We knit the outer shell from soft acrylic and added a fleece lining inside to keep the breeze off your ears on the walk to the train. The dark mixed gray hides slush and winter grit nicely.
Fleece inner lining
We lined the crown with soft fleece so the winter wind cannot cut through the knit. It sits flat against your hair without itching, holding warmth close around your ears on long walks.
Soft acrylic yarn
The outer shell is knit from thick acrylic thread worked tightly in the round. It resists winter damp, holds its shape after a sudden snow squall, and packs down small in a coat pocket.
Stretch pull on fit
We shaped this with enough give to pull down low over the brow or wear slightly slouchy at the back. The ribbed structure expands easily over thick hair without squeezing your temples.
Care for the knit
Wash this piece by hand in cool water with mild soap when the season ends. Squeeze the water out in a towel and lay it flat to dry so the lining and shell keep their form.
