How we split them
Why seven and not one long list
Seven shelves is what the catalogue actually divides into once you sort by what a thing is for.
A hundred styles in one list is not a catalogue, it is a haystack. Splitting by season would only give two piles, and half of what we weave crosses over: a cotton bucket hat is a spring hat and a July hat both. So the split runs on use. Beanies and kids winter hats keep heat in. Straw, sun and bucket shapes keep glare off. Scarves close the collar gap, and gloves sit at the other end of the same cold morning.
Two shelves are for small heads on purpose. Baby sun hats and kids winter hats size on age bands with a head measurement beside them, and shopping those next to adult sizes is how people end up ordering twice. If you are buying for a child, start on one of those two pages.
