What we collect, which is very little

There is no account to open on this site, no form to fill in and no list to join. That makes this page short, and it makes most of the usual privacy paragraphs irrelevant here.

No accounts, no forms, no list

You cannot register, log in, save a basket or subscribe to anything on these pages, because none of those things exist. We hold no customer records, because we have no customers: buying happens on our retail partner’s shelf under their account and their policy.

What the server writes down

The same thing every web server writes down. A request for a page leaves a line in a log: which page, when, roughly which country it came from, and which site sent you if any did. We read those lines in aggregate to see which shelves get visited and which pages are broken. They are not attached to a name, an account or an identifier that follows you to another site.

What happens when you tap a buy button

You leave. From that moment you are on our retail partner’s site under their privacy policy, which is a longer document than this one and worth the read. We cannot see what you do there, what you buy or what you pay.

If you write to us

We keep the thread so the next person who picks it up can see what was already said, and that is all we do with it. Your address does not go onto a mailing list, because there is no mailing list to go onto, and we do not pass it to anyone.

Children

We weave hats for children and we write for the adults buying them. This site is not aimed at children, asks nothing of anybody and therefore asks nothing of them either.

What you can do about any of it

Block scripts, clear your browser, read the catalogue with everything switched off. The pages work either way, apart from the buy buttons. If you want to know what we hold on a conversation you started, write to the same address and ask.

If this page changes

It changes when the site does. We are not going to promise you a review calendar we would then have to keep.
