In our words
What we wove into this one
Cold mornings on the train platform call for something that stays put without long loose tails to tuck away. We made this gaiter with a smooth outer knit and lined it with plush fleece. It slides over your head, rests against your collar, and pulls up over your nose when the frost bites.
Plush fleece lining
The inner side sits soft against your throat without any scratchiness or bulk. It traps warmth right against your collar while you scrape ice off the windshield or walk the dog down frozen sidewalks.
Deep navy blue
We dyed this batch in navy blue, a deep sea shade that hides winter road salt and blends quietly into wool overcoats, ski parkas, and dark work jackets.
Stretch and recovery
The polyester knit expands easily over your hair and settles snug around the neck without sagging. When you pull it high over your mouth on windy descents, it stays firmly in place.
Washing and care
Rinse it by hand in cold water when the season gets slushy, then press the excess moisture out and lay it flat to dry so the fleece stays deep and soft.
