In our words
What we wove into this one
Cold mornings at the train stop call for something that sits close without trailing loose ends. We knit these with a smooth viscose blend on the outside and back them with deep fleece. Pull the top edge up over your chin when the wind picks up off the river.
Plush fleece lining
The inner side is thick and soft against cold cheeks. It holds warmth close to the collarbone without scratching, even when pulled high over the mouth on the morning dog walk.
Viscose blend knit
The outer knit has stretch that recovers after being pulled over a beanie. Deep tones of navy, black, and warm coffee brown hide slush splashes and sit neatly under heavy wool coats.
Reversible wear
Wear the knit stripes outward for a clean finish, or turn the fleece side out when the air turns biting. The tube shape stays put under a zipped collar without bunching.
Care and washing
Rinse by hand in cool water with mild soap when the week is done. Press flat on a towel to dry so the knit keeps its shape through the winter.
