Keep the brim flat for generous shadow across your collar, or snap the sides up when you want a western profile. The rear drawcord tightens quickly so the crown sits right where you want it.

Opening for your hair

High buns and thick ponytails fit naturally through the back gap. Your hair stays off your neck in the afternoon heat without forcing the crown to ride up or sit crooked on your brow.

Chin cord for the wind

Brisk gusts on the ferry or along the shoreline can lift a wide hat. We attached an adjustable cord that sits lightly beneath your jaw, holding everything steady through sudden breezes.

Tuck it in a tote

Roll the crown, fold the nylon flat, and slip it straight into a beach bag. It springs right back into form once unpacked. When dust gathers from the trail, hand wash it gently in cold water.
