In our words
What we wove into this one
Wet snow has a way of working through ordinary seams by mid-morning. We built these with a tight polyester shell to turn heavy flurries and winter wind before dampness reaches your fingers. Inside, deep fleece warms the hands right away.
Shell and weather
The dense outer weave sheds sleet and icy wind while you shovel the walk or ride the lift. In pale khaki, the cloth looks right against winter field grass and wet mountain granite.
Lining on the inside
Soft fleece traps warmth close to the palm without adding awkward bulk. Your fingers stay warm while you grip ski poles or adjust your boots in the freezing cold.
Grip across the palm
Reinforced patches add hold where cold metal poles and shovel handles wear down ordinary cloth. The palm stays pliable even after hours out in subfreezing weather.
Screen use and care
Conductive tips on the thumb and index finger let you answer a call or check a trail map in the snow. Hand wash only in a basin of cool water and air dry flat.
