What we wove into this one

Bright water throws glare straight up under a narrow brim. We braided this straw wide enough to make deep, cool shadow across your eyes and cheeks. The inky black paper yarn cuts the brightest midsummer glare down to size while letting the breeze move through the crown.

Wide braided brim

The broad paper brim stretches far out over your shoulders. It settles the sharp afternoon glare across the lake, the garden path, or the hot sand without flopping into your line of sight.

Chin cord for wind

Open boats and coastal gusts can lift a wide hat away fast. We added a lightweight cord with an adjustable toggle to keep the crown settled, or you can flip it up when the air stays still.

Packable paper straw

Tuck the hat into a beach tote or roll it into a weekend bag. The braided paper yarn flexes without breaking, springing back into shape as soon as you shake it out at your stop.

Adjustable inner band

A hidden drawstring under the soft sweatband lets you cinch the crown close so it sits right. Spot clean or hand wash cold, then let the straw dry flat in the shade.
