What we wove into this one

Out on open water or a dusty footpath, the sun bounces hard off everything around you. We tailored this lightweight nylon bucket hat with side vents to let breezes move through while you walk. In solid black, it gives your eyes full relief from the midday glare.

Wide brim coverage

We cut the brim wide all the way round to cast deep shadow over your neck and face. Turn the edges up by the water or pull them down low when walking straight into bright sky.

Airy side mesh

Vents set along the crown let warm air escape and welcome passing breezes. An interior sweatband catches moisture along your brow so you stay dry and comfortable while pushing up the trail.

Drawstring and chin cord

A gust coming off the lake will not carry this away. Pull the rear toggle for a snug fit around your head, then cinch the chin cord when the wind picks up.

Packable nylon cloth

The woven nylon shell rolls down tight enough to shove inside a jacket pocket or the bottom of your pack. Shake it out, shape the brim with your fingers, and it is ready to wear.
