What we wove into this one
Cold mornings in the stroller call for a gentle layer that stays put without pinching. We knit this infant beanie from a soft viscose blend with plenty of stretch. The pale pink knit tucks down over tiny ears and adjusts as the weeks go by.
Adjustable top knot
The knot at the crown is not fixed in place. Untie it and retie it higher or lower to change the depth, so the beanie fits snugly as baby grows.
Gentle viscose blend
We chose a rayon viscose yarn blended with spandex for an exceptionally soft feel against a tender forehead. It stretches easily over the head without losing its shape.
Elastic rim band
An elasticated edge holds the beanie in place while baby shifts around in the carrier or car seat. It sits flat without leaving harsh marks across the brow.
