What we wove into this one
Cold mornings at the playground call for a hat that stays put while small boots crunch over frozen gravel. We knit the outer shell from soft acrylic and added a smooth inner lining so cold wind stays out. The deep berry pink stands out bright against gray winter sidewalks.
The berry knit
We chose acrylic yarn for the outside because it holds its stretch through busy mornings and keeps a bright, deep pink tone through cold gray weather.
Lined for small ears
The inner layer blends soft polyester and spandex so it pulls on without pulling hair. It sits close to the brow and stays settled over restless ears.
Snap off the pom pom
The crown holds a plush yarn pom pom on a small metal snap. Pull the pom pom off before you wash the hat by hand in warm water with mild soap.
