What we wove into this one
Cold mornings on the playground call for knitwear that stays put over restless ears. We knit this toddler beanie from stretchy acrylic yarn and backed the whole crown with soft fleece. The muted moss green and heather gray knit looks right at home among frost on winter park grass.
Fleece on the inside
The inner fleece lining stops cold air from slipping through the stitches. It sits soft against little foreheads and temples without scratching or bunching when a toddler twists in the stroller.
Shaped ear coverage
The lower knit drops down over both sides of the head to keep cold gusts off the ears. The knit hugs close around the jawline so it does not ride up during play.
Stretch ribbed knit
