What we wove into this one

Bright mornings along the coast call for a generous brim and a crown that breathes. We stitch this classic fedora from fine paper straw braid, trimmed with a ribbon band and fitted with a hidden adjuster. It shades the eyes without trapping the afternoon heat.

Wide paper braid brim

The brim reaches out far enough to throw deep shade over your eyes and neck. We stitch the paper braid tight so it holds its shape through long walks in the heat.

Hidden size adjuster

An inner hook and loop tab sits tucked inside the sweatband. You can snug the band down when the wind picks up across the water or loosen it for a relaxed fit.

Detachable chin cord

Gusts off the bay will not take this crown away. Clip the chin cord on when you board the boat or head out along the bluffs, and tuck it away when you do not need it.

Packs in your tote
