What we wove into this one

Bright mornings on the water call for a steady brim. We weave this fedora from flexible paper straw in solid black, giving you deep shade across the eyes and a cool head. It adjusts inside the band and holds on when the afternoon breeze picks up.

Wide fedora brim

The paper braid extends outward to cast quiet shade over the face and collar. Black straw cuts harsh midday glare across open water or the garden path without trapping warmth around your crown.

Adjustable inner band

Tucked behind the wicking sweatband is a hook and loop strap. Pull it slightly snug so the crown sits firmly against your head on windy strolls along the pier.

Detachable chin cord

Sudden gusts on a ferry deck can catch a wide brim off guard. We added a slender chin cord that clips in place to keep the hat with you, then removes easily when you head inside.

Packing and care

Roll the crown gently into a tote bag or suitcase for travel. It shakes out and resumes its shape when you arrive. Keep it dry and spot clean only, avoiding the wash basin.
