Bright mornings call for generous shade. We braided paper straw into a fedora shape that keeps the midday glare off your eyes while air moves through the crown. The band of black against sandy beige gives it a grounded look for the garden path or the ferry deck.

Wide fedora brim

The broad brim circles the head to throw steady shade over your eyes and neck. It holds its line without sagging when the afternoon heat sets in.

Hidden fit strap

Tucked behind the inner sweatband is a hook and loop strap you can cinch. It lets you dial in the hold so the crown sits right where you want it.

Chin cord for wind

Open water and coastal breezes will not lift this hat away. We added an adjustable chin cord that you can snug up when the wind picks up or remove entirely.

Rolls for travel

Roll the crown and brim into your tote bag for the train ride. When you shake it loose at your destination, the braided straw springs back into shape.
